“What exactly does PEMF do?”

By exercising the cells with PEMF, we stimulate ion flow, just like with batteries, and that helps the cells get more energy to perform their natural function. PEMF is not targeting medical conditions because it does not know or care what they are. It truly focuses on increasing cellular energy as one of the complementary natural drivers of wellness - like nutrition, water, and oxygen. The pulsed magnetic fields created by the technology stimulate cells to pump out waste materials and allow for fresh nutrients and oxygen to enter.

“Is Pulse PEMF beneficial for [disease] or [condition]?”

Pulse PEMF does not treat, diagnose, or cure any health conditions. It stimulates and exercises the cells[2] to provide natural energy to the body on a cellular level[6,7] with a pulsing magnetic field. The magnetic field passes all the way through the body to support the cells’ ability to do their job better. PEMF can help to enhance the overall ability of the body to optimize its natural functions[1] and thus can play a vital role in any comprehensive wellness program.

“What has been your experience with PEMF?”

  • “I feel great!”
  • “I sleep better!”
  • “I have more energy!”

Pulse PEMF employees and affiliates may not share personal stories that imply medical results from the use of PEMF nor can they capture or share stories of owners, users, doctors, etc. that may imply medical results.

“What settings and positions will work best to address [issue]?”

Tolerance and comfort levels for the Magnetic Field Strength, Pulses Per Second, and use of the accessories will vary from user to user, so figuring out what you prefer may take time. The positions and settings I might recommend starting with to target or reach that area would be… (Give your recommendation!)

“Is PEMF FDA-approved?”

No. Pulse PEMF machines are non-medical general wellness devices. Pulse PEMF machines and accessories deliver PEMF as cellular exercise to optimize the body’s natural healing and regulating functions.

“What research can you share regarding Pulse PEMF?”

In 2017-18, Pulse PEMF contracted with Dr. Stephen Beebe at The Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics at Old Dominion University to conduct 2 studies using our Pulse XL PRO on animal models. These studies—PEMF-Its Correlation to Enhanced Energy, Endurance and Performance and Effects of Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF) on Mouse Bone Marrow-Derived Macrophages—are both linked here.

“What other research do you have about PEMF?”

We encourage you to dive into the research that exists on PEMF technology and its many applications. Searching “pulsed electromagnetic field” or “PEMF” with whatever keywords you’re interested in can yield a variety of results on PubMed, Google Scholar, and other research platforms.
